High pressure sodium vapour lamps

Devised electrical and firmware design for powering and operating high pressure sodium vapour lamps for flood lighting applications. The active control loop was optimized for power control with the voltages and currents varying in the first few minutes to hours of startup. Designed 10kV-high voltage arc trigger circuitry and implemented trigger delays in firmware depending on ionization status and chemistry of carrier gas.
